Hello my wonderful friends!
This week was great! Elder Sowah's birthday was on Wednesday. We had dinner with one of the families in the ward on Tuesday to celebrate his birthday. We had red velvet cake. It was super good.
On Thursday we gave a sister in the ward a blessing. Her name is Sister Warburton. She has this disease that kills her immune system, so we had to wash our hands before we could give her the blessing. She gave me a packet of pictures from the town where my name comes from. All Warburtons are from the Manchester area in England.
On Friday we had zone conference. We had a bunch of trainings from the sister training leaders, the zone leaders, the assistants to the president, and President Stevens. It lasted almost the whole day. It was great.
Well, that's it. I guess I'll
end with a spiritual thought.
4 Blessed art thou, Nephi, for those things which thou hast done; for I have beheld how thou hast with unwearyingness declared the word, which I have given unto thee, unto this people. And thou hast not feared them, and hast not sought thine own life, but hast sought my will, and to keep my commandments.
5 And now, because thou hast done this with such unwearyingness, behold, I will bless thee forever; and I will make thee mighty in word and in deed, in faith and in works; yea, even that all things shall be done unto thee according to thy word, for thou shalt not ask that which is contrary to my will. (Helaman 10)
As long as you continue to share the word with unwearyingness, you'll be blessed forever, so keep on sharing the gospel!
Love,
Elder Warburton
I asked Jared to send me a picture of his flat. He lives in a pretty nice place! |
