This week wasn't really that interesting, so I'll tell you about today.
We went to Cambridge this morning so Elder Coon could do his theory test. He passed! Then we immediately went to Bedford to do interviews. Sister Stevens made the best brownies ever for us. They were great.
We had some wonderful trainings by President and Sister Stevens. They talked about being consecrated missionaries. We need to put all of our fears, doubts, uncertainties and sins on "the altar of sacrifice". I know that this applies not only to missionaries, but everyone. As we sacrifice our sins, we'll be able to do amazing things.
I'll end this email by quoting Elder Holland:
"If we give our heart to God, if we love the Lord, Jesus Christ, if we do the best we can to live the gospel, then tomorrow--and every other day--is ultimately going to be magnificent, even if we don't always recognize it as such."
Love,
Elder Warburton
P. S. For all of you who have been to Round Rock Donuts, I'll need you all to write me an email explaining how you would describe how good they are. For those who need it, my email is jared.warburton@myldsmail.net
(As you can probably tell, he's wishing I would overnight him some RR Donuts. ;))
Other news:
I still love England but now I'm starting to miss American food. There are Americans here that feed us American food. It's so great. They get their food from the Air Force base.
About driving in England:
It's super fun. Basically the rule of thumb is if there is enough space for a single electron to fit between you and the car on your right, then you're good. So I can basically smack a quarter off of the side of a car with relative ease now. That's what driving here is like.
I love my ward mission leader. He's American, born in Florida and he's great.
