This week has been really great. I've now been in Ramsey for the past 6 days. By the way, on my way here we went to Kings Cross and took our train from platform 9 and 3/4.
I wish. We walked past it, but there were millions of people is line, so we didn't have time to take a picture with the cart. My new companion is Elder Coon. He's the district leader.
So last week I said that I was going to Huntingdon, but I'm actually in Ramsey. Huntington Ward was split about three weeks ago, and now we cover Ramsey while the sisters cover Huntingdon. But we still have the car, which is awesome.
Conference was great. I would encourage you all to watch it or read it. It will really help you all in your life.
Not much else has happened. I love the Ward, so that's nice but I am sad to leave the sea.
For my spiritual thought, I'll share a quote from conference that I really liked.
I really liked president Uchtdorf's talk in the Sunday morning session. I really liked the quote:
"There's nothing good unless you do it."
I'm sorry that I don't speak the celestial language, so I just have to share it in English.
If you want something good, you have to do something for it. Which reminds me of a phrase that Elder Cornélio shared with me.
"Quem não chora não mama."
I'll let you all ask a Portuguese speaker to explain that one.
Well, that's all. I love you all!
Love,
Elder Warburton
P.S. The building we live in was built in the early 1200's. Even older than your house, Sheila. ;)
P.P.S Huntingdon is pretty far north of London. It's really pretty, but there aren't that many people. Here's a picture I took while in the car. There are a lot of these kinds of fields here.
