Being Set Apart

The Blessing (this is not word for word but just what I could remember from the notes I took):

Elder Jared Michael Warburton by the authority of the Melchizedek priesthood and through the keys given by President Thomas S. Monson, I lay my hands upon your head and set you apart as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints called to serve in the England London mission.

Heavenly Father knows you and is grateful for your preparation, worthiness and willingness to serve a mission and share your life with your brothers and sisters in London.  He is grateful for your obedience and dedication to Him.

I bless you to know that Heavenly Father will guide and direct you as you listen to the Holy Ghost.  You will be guided and directed as you strive to be obedient and through your worthiness.  He will be your constant companion and will lead, guide and direct everything you stand in need of including where you need to be, when you need to be there and will even give you the words to speak.

I bless you to have the wisdom to make good choices and to know that Heavenly Father is grateful for the choices you have already made.

I bless you that your body will endure well with strength and energy to fulfill your duties as you strive to manage your health.  As you eat healthy and exercise, your body will be able to withstand the rigors of mission life.

I bless you with the desire to work hard and serve well.

I bless you in your relationships with your family, your companions and the people you meet that they will be able to see you as a son of God who is faithful, true and dedicated and the people you meet will strive to be like you.

Be an example.  Be responsible.  Be a leader among leaders and investigators.

The Lord loves you and will bless you.  I bless you with an open mind and heart to know the scriptures.  I bless you as you study, you will receive revelation and insights and will be able to witness to many and witness many miracles in the lives of the people you meet.

I bless you to know that your experiences will be a great blessing to your family and friends as they experience the mission with you and their faith will grow and increase because of your example.

I bless you with these and all other blessings in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
