Dear Wonderful People,
This week was pretty good. This week was the first week of the transfer, so we got to meet our new district. The only new person in our district is the district leader, so it's pretty much the same.
We met a few people this week. The problem is getting them more interested in the gospel. Speaking of getting people interested in the gospel, Elder Wen and I will be giving a training on member missionary work on the fifth Sunday of July. We're using the book, "The Power of Everyday Missionaries". This book has great ideas. Something I've learned so far is that the gospel and the church are some of the most amazing, brilliant, attractive things in the world, it just so happens that we as members are just terrible at advertising it. So one way of giving people a taste is by asking them to help us with things in the church. For example, invite them to help someone move in, or invite them to help you write your talk for sacrament meeting. There are thousands of little things that they would be more than happy to help with, and they would get a taste for themselves what the church is really like. Just a thought.
Well, other than that, we're just keeping up with the work here in Ramsey.
I love you all!
Love,
Elder Warburton
P.S. Today is my 10 month mark. I'm so old.
