Dear Wonderful People!

This week was great.  We found lots of people to teach.  The sisters in Huntingdon gave us someone to teach named Adam.  He came to church with us and he loved it!  Too bad he could only come to church, because after church we went to the stake center to listen to Elder Kearon and his wife and Dallin H. Oaks and his wife.  I only have one thing to say and that is that apostles are way funnier and more down to earth when they're not speaking to the whole world.  Elder Oaks and his wife were going at each other the whole time.  It was super funny but you could tell that they really love each other. And I get to see him again tomorrow!  Yay!

What else happened this week...We had our zone training meeting on Friday.  That was fun.  Though, it took us three hours to get there.  So, if you look at a map, then you would see that Northhampton isn't that far from Huntingdon but, since we can't take the car because we're low on miles, we had to take the train.  And the way the train system is set up here, all the rail lines branch straight out from London, so instead of just going straight from Huntingdon to Northampton, we had to go into London, then take another train back up into Northampton.  That changes the distance traveled from 40 miles to 140 miles, plus London traffic.  So, we had to leave around 7 in the morning to get there on time.  Fun.

Also, on Sunday I got a surprise visit from some friends from back home...the Milletts.  Brother Millett was my first bishop in Texas.  They also brought me some Round Rock Donuts.  Just going to mention, it probably Round Rock Donuts that gave me diabetes.  Just kidding.

(A little background to this visit...Sara Millett asked me where Jared was serving and when I told her, she looked it up and figured out that they were staying 30 minutes away from where Jared is, so they decided to attend church there in his ward.  She asked if there was something she could bring him and Jared had just asked if I would overnight RR Donuts to him (I said no) so I asked her if she would take him some donut holes and a hug from his mom.  She suggested that she bring her son, Jared, over to get a hug from Carson and then he would bring that hug from Carson over to our Jared.  I included a picture so you could get all teary-eyed like I did).

Oh, I also passed my driving test.  So now, I'm a full fledged English (Offensive) driver.  I'll send a picture when I get it.

Well, that's about all.

I'll leave you all with a spiritual thought.

31 What shall we then say to these thing?  If God be for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8)

Remember, since God is with us, nothing can prevail against us.

I love you all!

Love,

Elder Warburton
