March 13 Email

Dear wonderful people!

You know, I think it's better when I just send you guys my journal entries for the week. It remembers everything better than I do.

Tuesday - So, today I met Mercy. Mercy was a referral from her mother to the ward mission leader. The other day Elder Bourne and Chang saw her on the exchange. Well, we saw her today with John Bullard and taught her lesson one. It was a really good lesson. We put her on date for the 9th of April. She is really prepared. After that, we had lunch and went finding with John. We went to a different lake today called Caldecott lake. It was a really pretty walk. We talked to lots of people, but not much success. It was fun though. After that we stopped by less actives for a while. We saw a family called the Freemans. We only talked on the doorstep, but it was a good talk. We are seeing them on Friday. After that we had dinner. Then, after dinner, we went to the chapel to teach the youth about missionary life and the daily schedule. It was fun. After that, we played dodge ball. That was also really fun.

Wednesday - Today we got rail cards. That took forever. Then we had lunch, then we stopped by some people the bishop asked us to stop by. We stopped by a man named Stuart Hurwood. He was super nice. Then we went to the chapel to open it up for the Bletchley elders. We did some online proselyting while they had their lesson. Then we did some tracting, then we had a short dinner, then we picked up the sisters and went to the chapel for their lesson.

Thursday - Today was fun. We went to London for our mission tour. We were visited by elder Philips. He is the former stake president of the Hyde Park stake. He was called to be an area 70 last conference. He talked mostly about loving others and being genuine and how we should build our testimonies. We need to build our testimony like a spider builds its Web. We need multiple anchor points, rather than just a bunch of bricks. So that took the entire day. We got back at around 7:00 pm. So us and the other elders went to a restaurant owned by members and got a delicious free meal. It's called mii and u. It's awesome. Also, while in London, we saw a flaming tuba.

Friday - Today was nice. Mercy cancelled in the morning, so we went finding in Bletchley town. While out we met a less active lady and we'll be seeing her on Sunday . Then we went home and had lunch. I made some really nice chicken spaghetti. Then we went and picked up the Bletchley elders sports night clothing. After that we parked the car and I went to have an appointment for my diabetes supplies. After that we went to the freemans to have a lesson with them. It was mostly us helping her grandson with a scooby doo puzzle. It was fun. After that we went to Bishop Reeve's home for dinner with the Bletchley elders. We had pizza and rice salad and onion rings and garlic bread and it was awesome. After that we shared the the cups and the knives lesson with them. Halfway through it became a rotating session between everybody. It was really funny. After that, we had sports night at the chapel. We played basketball. Then we went home.

Saturday - Well, today was super fun. We had our zone training meeting today. We had some good trainings. The first was on referring to the restoration in our TTIs. The second was about the ten commandments of church attendance. Then we took some fun pictures, got girl scout cookies, then went to McDonald's for lunch. After that we basically did online proselyting and acted as a taxi service for the rest of the night. It was fun.

Sunday - Today was fun. Mercy came to church. She really enjoyed it, even though she only came for the first hour. During church, there was this returned missionary who served in the ward. He served in this ward about five years ago. It was fun to hear his thoughts and feelings about serving here five years ago. It was also fun to watch him meet with people he had served around. After dinner we taxied the other elders to their dinner appointment then stopped by less active. She wasn't home so we stopped by a potential investigator and set an appointment for tomorrow. Then we did some companionship study and went to pick up the elders from the dinner appointment. The member made us some Curry and pita bread for dinner. It was delicious.

Well, that's all for this week. I love you all!

Love,

Elder Warburton
