Well, Today is my 19 month mark. I've been in England for 19 months now. How crazy is that?
Well, I'll write a proper email this week.
On Tuesday we met with mercy. We taught her the plan of salvation and the word of wisdom. She's awesome! She's going to get baptized. But, continue to pray for her. We need all the blessings we can get. Later in the evening we helped out with young mens. They made smoothies and milkshakes for the activity, then we played football.
On Wednesday, Today was bright and sunny all day long. It was great. You really learn to appreciate the sun when you're in England. We had our district meeting in the morning. I gave a training on the importance of partaking of the sacrament and why it's helpful for people investigating the church. Since it was so nice, we went finding for most of the day. then, we ate dinner made by a Chinese member. It was really nice.
On Thursday, we did a lot of finding as well. The weather wasn't quite as nice. Later on, a member of the ward baked us a cake. It was really sweet. Then we made a cake for the family of one of our investigators.
Friday was Saint Patrick's day. I wore a green tie, so I guess I was in the spirit of the holiday. We taught mercy again. she was really receptive to the lesson. Then we went to subway for lunch. They were having a Saint Patrick's day thing, so they were giving out free subs if you bought a drink. Later on in the evening we went to an Indian members home for dinner. She made Mexican food. So it was a bit of an Indian Mexican mix. It was really nice.
On Saturday, we pretty much just stopped by lots of less active members and did lots of finding. Though, the other ward was having a 175th anniversary of relief society party, so we went as well. It was a lot of fun.
Sunday was great. We have church at 2:00 pm, so our day after church is pretty relaxed. We had a dinner appointment way out of town. The member that had us over was loaded. He had a Bentley and a massive house. They even had a theater room. It was great. He actually co-owns a company with a member from one of my previous wards.
Well, that was my week. I hope you guys have an awesome week!
I love you all!
Love,
Elder Warburton
