Happy leap year!

My week has been wonderful! But I can't remember what happened.

The Sisters had a baptism and Elder Cornélio performed the baptism. I'll send a picture.

My district leader is so rad. I'm only saying this because he told me to.

13 Behold, I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I have been called of him to declare his word among his people, that they might have everlasting life. (3 Nephi 5)

Yep, that's it.

Dear Wonderful People,

This week has been great. We found some great new investigators this week. We found a family of four. They are really nice. The first time we went to go see them, their daughter was running around and jumping all over the place. She cut her finger in the process and got blood everywhere. We had to pause our lesson for a while. We invited them to church, but they weren't able to make it.

The weather is nice. There are always clouds. It doesn't rain that much, but it rains more than it does in Texas. It's not miserable. I enjoy it.

I love the food here.

The Ward is great. I really love the ward here. They're like a second family. They're super nice and they have us over for dinner all the time. The ward mission leader is hilarious. He's 80 years old and still going.

Today is my mom's birthday! Happy birthday mom! That's about everything from this week.

20 I say unto you, my brethren, that if you should render all the thanks and praise which your whole soul has power to possess, to that God who has created you, and has kept and preserved you, and has caused that ye should rejoice, and has granted that ye should live in peace one with another--

21 I say unto you that if ye should serve him who has created you from the beginning, and is preserving you from day to day, by lending you breath, that ye may live and move and do according to your own will, and even supporting you from one moment to another--I say, if ye should serve him with all your whole souls yet ye would be unprofitable servants.

22 And behold, all that he requires of you is to keep his commandments; and he has promised you that if ye would keep his commandments ye should prosper in the land; and he never doth vary from that which he hath said; therefore, if ye do keep his commandments he doth bless you and prosper you. (Mosiah 2)

We get all of these blessings and all we have to do is keep the commandments. It's a pretty great deal.

Love,

Dear Wonderful People,

This week was great as usual. We received our transfer calls and Elder Cornélio and I will be staying. So if you had any mail to send me, go ahead and send it my way. ;) Also one of the sisters is getting transferred and she is being replaced with another Brazilian! AAAAAHHH!!! So many Brazilians! I'm going to be a Brazilian by the end of this transfer.

We went finding with our zone leaders this week and we found a wonderful man named Alex. We invited him to come to church and he accepted. We went to church the next day and he wasn't able to make it, which was a bit sad. But when we met him the next day, he said that he was still interested in learning and would like to come to church next week.

We had a crazy week full of blessings. We gave more blessings this week than I had done so far on my entire mission. We gave about 5 or 6 blessings this week to different people. I think I have the sealing and anointing parts memorized by now.

So that's it. This week was really good.

13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life
for his friends. (John 15)

I've seen this scripture a few times this week, so I thought I would share it.

I love you all!

Love,

Elder Warburton

Dear wonderful people,

This week was great. We found some new investigators. They speak Portuguese, so Elder Cornélio will be doing most of the teaching. I went on exchange with the district leader. He's from Provo Utah and we are going to totally hang out after our missions. It's going to be great. We had lots of dinner appointments this week which is always awesome. I got to bless the sacrament this week, but I blessed the water when I should have blessed the bread, which would have been more appropriate. (Because Warburton.)

Yeah, so that's it. I'm reading in Alma again, which is nice because I love Alma.

25 And now we only wait to hear the joyful news declared unto us by the mouth of angels, of his coming; for the time cometh, we know not how soon. Would to God that it might be in my day; but let it be sooner or later, in it I will rejoice.

Are you looking forward to the second coming?

Sincerely,

Elder Warburton

P.S. Making cookies for members is the best. If you are a missionary, you better make cookies for your members. You'll be a much happier missionary.

Dear my wonderful friends and family!

This week has been a great! We did all sorts of fun stuff. Also, we had dinner appointments nearly every day this week. That's one of the best parts.

On Thursday, we were in charge of the young men's activity. We played this really fun game called speed. It's like basketball mixed with football (soccer). It was great fun, but I was dying when I woke up in the morning.

On Saturday, I got permission to meet my dad's cousin Sheila and her daughter Alex, who lives very close to our area. She actually lives in my district leader's area. She's super nice.

P.S. Sheila has some family history to share with you, dad.

Not too much happened this week. We still do all of the fun mission work that's bound to be there for missionaries, but I like to share the odd things, so that's all I'll be sharing, unless it's especially strange or wonderful. Also I'll share spiritual thoughts.

Speaking of spiritual thoughts:

7 My son, peace be unto thy soul; thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment;

8 And then, if thou endure it well, God shall exalt thee on high; thou shalt triumph over all thy foes.

9 Thy friends do stand by thee, and they shall hail thee again with warm hearts and friendly hands.

Don't worry about problems. When you get to eternal life, your problems won't even be a moment in your memory. So be happy!

Love,

Elder Warburton

P.S. Here's pictures from the week.

P.P.S. Happy belated birthday, dad!
