Dear wonderful people!

This week was pretty good. On Wednesday, we had an exchange with the Bury Elders. We tried a fun new finding technique. We bought cookies and offered them to people. In order to get a cookie, you needed to do ten push ups. Obviously, not many people wanted to do that,
considering that the ground is always a bit mushy. So we offered to do the push ups for them. Then we explained how it's like the Atonement. Jesus performed the Atonement so we could be payable of the blessings. It worked out really well, and we're seeing someone we met with this on Thursday. She seems really good.

Also, there was a world wide missionary broadcast on Wednesday. They made some changes to the missionary schedule. We have a lot more freedom with our schedule. Also, we can go to sleep at 9:30 if we want now, so that's a really big change.

We went to bury St Edmonds on Thursday to help blitz the Elders area.  We got to see some cool ruins. They also have an awesome old cathedral.

So our investigator Tina, who's baptismal date is for 5 February, is super good and on track to be baptized on that day. It felt like it was so far away then suddenly it's only a week away. Crazy. But she's super good and I'm really excited for her.

Well, that's all. I love you all!

Love,

Elder Warburton

P.S. So, as we drive to Tina's house, we see this sign along the way. Hmmm.

Dear wonderful people!

This week was great! We had a few lessons, which is always good. Not too much crazy stuff.  We met a few less active people this week so we're pretty cool.

Well, missionary work wise, we have just been doing the normal finding people to teach. We decided to do a few things outside of the box recently. Last week we made funny videos with random people on our iPad. This week we decided to do magic tricks with people in the
street. If you guys can think of any other fun ways to find people to teach, please tell me.

Hmm, what other fun stuff happened... Oh yeah, we had to break up a dog fight in the town earlier this week. We were talking to this homeless man about stuff and his dog was just sitting there. While we were talking, this other man with his dog came up and his dog started barking at the homeless man's dog. So the homeless man's dog jumped up and latched on to the other dog. It was pretty ugly. People don't really appreciate dog fights in the town centre.

Well, that's basically all about this week. Sorry that there's nothing interesting to write about. Maybe more fun stuff will happen this week.

I love you all!

Love,

Elder Warburton

Dear wonderful people!

This week has been pretty fun. Elder dunning enjoyed his last couple days here, then on Wednesday, we headed on down to London and switched off. I got my new companion, elder blad, and we headed back up to Cambridge. He's pretty awesome, so I'm excited for this upcoming transfer.

Other than that, not much has happened. I'm now the designated driver and I get control of the keys, so that's pretty exciting. I've introduced elder blad to most of the important people here and I've shown him around the city, so now he's basically an expert.

Hmm, oh! We had this miracle referral a few weeks back. She said that she wanted to get baptised, so we taught her the restoration, and put her on date for February 5th! I'm looking forward to that.

So, yeah, that's my week. Nothing crazy, but it was good.

Well, I love you all!

Love,

Elder Warburton

Dear wonderful people!

This week was wonderful! We had lots of fun things happen. One of those fun things away our Zone training meeting. It was just a lot of fun.

Yesterday we had an exchange with the Elders from Bury St. Edmunds. It was a lot of fun. In the evening, we went to the senior couple's house for family home evening. We watched the worldwide devotional for young single adults. It was great. Kinda awkward, but great nonetheless.

What else? Oh yeah, transfers are tomorrow. I'm staying and Elder Dunning is going to Northampton. I'll be receiving Elder Blad. I hear he's pretty great.

Well, that's all. I hope that you're all enjoying your winter! (Or summer if your one of those people.) I love you all!

Love,

Elder Warburton

Zone Training Meeting:

There's a little story behind this picture.  So, this is Elder Koehler.  He was my second companion and goes home tomorrow.  Our first Sunday together at church, he did this little puzzle with me (the little stick with the string).  It took me forever to figure it out and it really frustrated me.  Since he knows how much I hated it, he gave it to me as a departing present so now I can ruin other people's days just like he ruined my day over a year ago.  I'm so excited!

One of the sister missionary's mom sent a video of her ward Christmas party.  It showed them dancing to this video, so we recreated it.  Here it is:

Dear wonderful people!

This week was great!

On Tuesday we had an exchange with the zone leaders. We went finding on the university campus. There was literally no one there. Like a well-kept ghost town. After that we went to the chapel to watch the missionary driver safety videos. They were so cheesy. I would highly
recommend watching them. Then we went to the zone leaders flat for dinner. It was really good. We had fried rice and fried chicken.

And then Wednesday happened. I can't remember.

And then Thursday happened. Ditto.

Friday with sports night! I love sports night! There was like 15 people there. It was so much fun. Though, it was a bit congested for chair football.

Saturday was New Year's Eve! We had dinner with the family in the ward. They made us Portuguese food and lots of cake. It was really really good. Then we played Uno for the rest the night till we had to go.

So yeah. That was my week. It was a lot of fun.

I love you all!

Love,
