Dear Wonderful People!

This week was very eventful. Let me try and remember.

So on Monday, we went to Luton to hang out with the elders there and with our district leader and his companion. We basically played monopoly all day. It was a lot of fun. Then we had family home evening with the YSA in the ward.

Tuesday was a regular day of work. Nothing too exciting.

On Wednesday, we did a lot of Work. Nothing too special there either.

Thursday we went to district meeting and then had an exchange with our zone leaders afterwards. I went with elder Jackson. We had correlation meeting with their ward mission leader, then he took us all out to this super tasty Japanese restaurant. Then we had a crazy lesson with one of their African investigators. After that we had to go to Stevenage to pick up on of the sister's investigators to bring to Watford to be interviewed by President Jarvis. Man, that guy is so good. He really wants to be baptized and he is definitely ready. And he's super cool. I'm excited for him. By now he will have already been baptized.

Friday we got back from our exchange and all of the appointments we had for that day cancelled. That happens sometimes. So we basically just went finding all day.

Saturday was good. We had a blitz with the elders from Luton and our district leader. I found two people to teach during the blitz. Then later we had a dinner appointment with a Jamaican lady. She made us this really good chicken and lamb. It was delicious.

On Sunday we had church and Elder Suxo's bike broke down on the way to church, so we were late. After church, we took Martin, our investigator, to a baptism in Luton. He really liked it and decided that he wants to be baptized next Sunday! So we spent a good portion
of our evening preparing for his baptism.

So yeah, that's all. I'm really excited for his baptism!

I hope you all have a great week!

I love you!

Love,

Elder Warburton

Happy New Year!

Well, I hit one year on my mission, so now it's all downhill from here. Yay!

Other than that, we have an awesome investigator who is going to be baptized next month. His name is Martin. Please pray for him.

So, yeah, everything is great.

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT!

44 But behold I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them who despitefully use you and persecute you; (3 Nephi 12)

Charity is hard, but we need it in order to be perfect. So pray every day to have this gift and it will come.

I love you all!

Love,

Elder Warburton

P.S. Here's a video from my one year shirt burning ceremony.

Dear Wonderful People!

We got new bikes this week, so don't worry about that. I also got a bike lock that also serves as a weapon of self defense. It locks up your bike and it can whip the head off of an elephant in one fell swoop. It's pretty great.

We have this awesome investigator named Martin. He accepted to be baptized on the 18th of September. That was the best part of the week.

Other than that, nothing crazy has happened. Just normal missionary work. I haven't been mugged yet on my mission. I've heard that in this mission, Luton is the place to be mugged. I'm right next to Luton, so maybe one day I'll get to be mugged.

By the way, my address is 59A St. Peter's Road, Dunstable, LU5 4HY. If you want to send me packages, go ahead. Letters are welcomed as well.

I hope that you all have a great week!

Love,

Elder Warburton

Dear Wonderful People!

This week has been crazy! We spent most of our time outside of our area. At least it feels like that. We had an exchange on Tuesday and Wednesday, zone meeting on Friday, and we went to Luton on Saturday to help the elders there with a lesson. Also on Friday, we got our bikes stolen. Someone jumped over the fence of the chapel and stole our bikes in the twenty minutes we were in the chapel. Other than that this week was great.

For my spiritual thought I'll share a scripture.

19 Neither shalt thou steal. (Deuteronomy 5)

Don't steal, it's not nice.

I hope that you all have a great week. Remember, always use your bike locks. Always.

I love you all!

Love,

Elder Warburton
