March 29 Email

Hello everyone!

This week was fun. We did all sorts of stuff, but mostly we visited less active members. This next week is transfers and I will be moving to a wonderful place called Huntington. I will be driving and there's an American airbase there. I'm really sad to leave this awesome Ward, but I know that the Lord sends me where He needs me. And I know Huntington will be an awesome Ward as well.

Also today we had crocodile burgers for lunch. They tasted awesome.

Well, for my spiritual thought, I'll share this awesome scripture that I read this past week:

21 Nevertheless the Lord seeth fit to chasten his people; yea, he trieth their patience and their faith.

22 Nevertheless--whosoever putteth his trust in him the same shall be lifted up at the last day. Yea, and thus it was with this people. (Mosiah 23)

Even if you are going through hard times, just keep trusting the Lord because everything gets better in the end.

Love,

Elder Warburton

P.S. Here's our crocodile burgers. They were really nice.

I'm also including part of his letter to me:

My Easter Sunday was really nice. We had lunch with the sisters then we went to a less active members home to have a lesson. The lesson went really long and we spent the entire evening with them, so we didn't eat dinner. I also decided that I don't like chocolate anymore. So I've stopped eating chocolate, except when members force me to eat it. That happened to me yesterday.

I love being a missionary. I've found out a way to test if you actually love being a missionary or not. Whenever you are leaving an area, if you can't sleep the night before because you are thinking about the people that you're leaving, then you love being a missionary.

Hey mom, guess what? I'm going to be driving! Isn't that awesome! My insurance will be so low when I get back because of the British license I'll be getting soon. I'm super excited if you couldn't tell.

Well, that's all the news really. I love you!

Love,

Elder Warburton

Hello world!

This week has been fun. We had a multicultural activity on Saturday. Different people of different nationalities did a presentation of their culture and brought food from their countries as well. I helped the missionaries by representing Brazil. It was fun.

Other than that, not too much happened this week. We visited lots of less active members and stuff. That was also fun.

Here are some pictures of the activity:

Well, for my spiritual thought, I'll share a scripture.

17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4)

All you need to do is endure. Simple as that.

Love,

Elder Warburton

Dear Wonderful People,

This week we had our zone conference. It was a lot of fun and we learned about the importance of planning.

We did some other stuff, but I can't remember what exactly. My sister sent a letter this week, and I hope this starts a trend. ;)

I'll share a thought with you guys.

20 Wherefore, by their fruits ye shall know them. (3 Nephi 14)

It doesn't matter what you say if you don't follow it. So you need to walk the walk as well as talk the talk.

I love you all!

Love,
Elder Warburton

Dear wonderful people,

The weather here has been crazy. We had snow, sun, hail and rain, in that order, all before 11:00 this morning. Fun.

We had intestines for dinner the other night. They tasted like they smelled. And they didn't smell good. We had an exchange on Thursday. The new exchange system makes it so we both go to the leader's area. So we had way too much fun to get to bed on time.

Other than that, I gave a talk on Sunday, which, by the way, is Mother's Day in England. I also confirmed the woman that was baptized last week. So that's about it.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8)

I love you all!

Love,
Elder Warburton
